Tristram Julian William Hunt FRHistS MP (born 31 May 1974) is a British Labour Party politician, historian and broadcast journalist, who has served as the Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent Central in Staffordshire since the 2010 general election. In January 2017, he announced that he would be resigning as an MP in order to take up the post of Director of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
