What did a man do to get dragged off a United plane by police
A passenger was pulled out of his seat by law enforcement officers as passengers were boarding in Chicago. The airline had asked passengers to give up their seats voluntarily for compensation to allow members of its staff to reach Louisville in time for another flight. When there were not enough volunteers, some passengers were selected for what the airline has termed an "involuntary de-boarding situation", ie being told to leave the plane. When one passenger refused to leave the airline called for law enforcement officers to remove him. The scene was videoed by fellow passengers and shared widely on social media.
