"Burglaries in London are at an all-time low. We've done really, really well at preventing burglaries. I know it can really upset people, of course it can. I'm not saying officers won't attend [a report of a burglary], of course we will. I'm not saying we won't assess it, of course we will. But we're not going to go in for meaningless activities."
