Who is Arlene Foster, the leader of the DUP?

Arlene Foster is the leader of the DUP (Democratic Unionist Party) and was first minister of Northern Ireland in 2016-7. She became leader of the party in 2015, but has been a controversial figure because of her role in the "cash for ash" scandal in which businesses were overpaid for using green energy schemes - something which cost the public £500m. It was for this that Sinn Fein under the late Martin McGuinness refused to work with her, meaning that elections were called.
